This policy explains what personal information reaches CS Maestro ("we", "us") through csmaestro.com, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect, and why
This site has no forms, no analytics and no cookies. You can read all of it without giving us anything.
When you visit the site, our host, Cloudflare, receives your IP address, your browser type and the pages you open, because it cannot send you a page without them. It uses them to deliver the site and keep it secure. Cloudflare’s servers are outside Quebec, including in the United States, so this information may leave Quebec. We do not keep a file on visitors, and we do not use these records to identify anyone.
When you email us at info@csmaestro.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it for one purpose: to answer you and to discuss the work you are asking about. Our email is provided by Microsoft, which stores it on servers that may be outside Quebec, including in the United States. Only the two of us who run CS Maestro read what arrives at info@csmaestro.com.
We do not ask for financial information through this site, and we never will.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information. Not to anyone, for any purpose.
- We do not share it except with Cloudflare and Microsoft, for the reasons above.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us. If we ever start a newsletter, you will have to ask for it.
- We do not use your information to train AI models.
How long we keep it
We keep your emails until we have answered you and for five years after, in case the conversation continues. After that they are destroyed.
Your rights
Under Quebec law you may ask us to:
- see the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
- delete it, or withdraw your consent to our using it;
- send it to you in a structured, commonly used technical format, or send it to someone else on your behalf.
Write to the address below with a request or a complaint, and we will answer within 30 days. There is no charge.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

If something goes wrong
If personal information we hold is lost or accessed without authorization and there is a risk of serious harm to you, we will tell you and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change it, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. If we add a contact form, a booking page or analytics to the site, this policy will say so before they go live.
